Sabrina has to survive the night in the cell. Most of them went mad and cut their own throats and still haunt the academy. The witches weren't given any water, sunlight, or food. Thirteen made it to the noose, but many more perished in the cell. Sabrina has to endure the same punishment as the Greendale Thirteen. The Weird Sisters have put her in there for the Harrowing, a witch tradition. Sabrina wakes up in the middle of the night in the Witch's cell after being warned by Quentin not to show "them" that she's scared. Realizing that Susie is frightened, Roz says she will. Susie asks if Roz will stay with her for the rest of the weekend. Susie explains that her Uncle Jesse saw something in the mines and went crazy. Horrified, Roz asks what happened to him. The two of them head upstairs to check on him. Suddenly, a bell rings from somewhere upstairs, and Susie explains that it's her sick uncle calling because he needs something. Meanwhile, at Susie's house, she and Roz are watching Carnival of Souls. Nick comes to Sabrina's defense and offers to walk Sabrina to her next class, which she accepts. Prudence, Agatha, and Dorcas tease Sabrina for having a mortal boyfriend and running from her Dark Baptism. The Weird Sisters appear, and Sabrina invites them to join their table. Nick reveals that he would like to follow in Edward's footsteps and study Demonology, among other things such as invocation, ritual magic, and necromancy. Nick thinks Edward was brilliant, adding that he was also controversial. Nick tells her that he's reading her father's journals, which are kept in the Sanctum, the library for advanced students, though they are considered dangerous text. She remembers the books she read and the friendships she cultivated. Zelda tells Sabrina about how her years at the academy were the best of her life. She then suggests that Sabrina take Salem to the Academy, but Zelda retorts that only babies and ninnies take their familiars to school. Hilda gives Sabrina some protection charms because she knows how cruel girls can be at the academy. Sabrina says that her only agenda is to learn how to conjure, bind, and banish the Dark Lord. Ambrose tries to console her by telling her about all the new people she's going to meet. Sabrina is upset that she had to lie to her friends, but she has to attend her induction. She then tells Harvey that whenever she's missing him that she'll hold his necklace close to her heart.Īmbrose watches as Sabrina begins to pack for her three-day stay over at the Academy of Unseen Arts. ![]() However, Sabrina lies to her friends and tells them that she too is going to the expo with her Aunt Hilda. Roz suggests that they have a girls' night as she has no desire to lead her parents' church group. Susie tells them that her dad is going out of town for the weekend at the farm expo.
